It's easy to spot Chioma out from a large crowd. Not only is she strikingly beautiful, but she's 6'3"... and as a 5'2" woman her height classifies her as a giant to me.
I met Chioma in Fall of 2019, and we instantly clicked. I loved her sense of humour and upbeat personality— she was also always down to go get fast food with me (which makes her a perfect friend to have, if you ask me!)
As I got to know Chioma, I learned that she was a talented baker. I found her bakery on Instagram and it is most definitely FoodPorn!
Just look at this cake! It is quite literally dripping with choclately-goodness! 🤤
I started ordering from Chioma's bakery earlier this year. I never realized how often I would order custom cakes and small pastries for special occasions from grocery stores.
I can confidently say that I will not be getting my cakes from a grocery store ever again!
I will exclusively order cakes and pastries from Chioma! Just look at the attention to detail of her work.
I ordered cakesicles from Chioma for Father's Day this year, and we were all blown away with this aesthetic.
Oh, and yeah...they tasted as good as they look! 🤤
Right now, more than ever, it's so important to support small shops and local businesses.
If you are located within Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), I highly recommend that you support this fantastic woman's business!

"My name is Chioma.
I’m 6’3 and I love to bake.
I started baking when I was 16-years-old and fell in love with the craft.
I graduated from George Brown college in 2019 with a Baking and Pastry Management diploma.
I own two businesses. One is called Chioma‘s Bakery and Small Chops and the other is called Naija Kitchen (a cooking business!) .
I am first runner-up Miss Africa Canada 2018.
Being a title holder for Miss Africa Canada was a great experience. I was able to work side-by-side with the pageant Queen in giving back to the community.
We hosted and attended events. We volunteered our time to give back to the community.
I now have my own charity foundation: Chioma Ogbonna Charity Foundation (COCF).
COCF focuses on giving back to the less privileged in different parts of Africa.
I believe that when you are blessed to live in a country like Canada you should give back to people who are less fortunate than you are and who do not have the opportunities that you have been given."
